Privacy at a glance

The app has no account, advertising, or cross-app tracking. The native apps have no analytics SDK. This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic and performance reporting. Saved stops, favorites, appearance, and reminder preferences are stored locally.

Location

Location is optional and helps sort nearby stops, estimate distance, and show map context. The PWA may ask on launch if your browser has not already made a permission decision. The Roaming Bean does not maintain a location history, but a map or directions provider and user-initiated calendar or sharing action may receive location-related information.

Schedule and websites

The app downloads a public schedule and keeps a temporary local cache. Cloudflare processes standard request and security information. Google Maps normally provides the embedded web map, with OpenStreetMap tiles available as a fallback. External pages follow their own privacy and cookie policies.

Permissions and control

You can deny or revoke location and notifications and continue using the public schedule. Calendar, sharing, maps, email, and optional Venmo tip actions occur only when selected. Clearing site data or uninstalling removes locally stored preferences.
